Cycling Mount Charleston -- A Very Cool (Literally) Summer Refuge

It's a mystery to me why more people don't explore Mt. Charleston.

The mountain outside Vegas is a cool refuge in the summer. And it attracted me on the Fourth of July.

It's a lovely 75 degrees at 8,000 feet.

I biked from the Kyle Canyon Rd. side up and over to Lee Canyon Rd.

The views were lovely.

I enjoy exploring new trails and this one looks great. The roads are becoming increasingly dangerous for dedicated bikers.
